My Beautiful Days (Korean Film 2001)
The story of a 24 year old written by a 24 year old. They are monopolizing the praise of the film industry.

Since pre-production, there was much talk about the 'extraordinary' screenplay of the film, "Twenty Four." Its first appearance was at the PARK Chul-Soo Film's Screenplay Contest in 19**. Many screenplays of various genres were entered but the screenplay, "Twenty Four" was a great piece of work that stood out. A real 24 year old, CHOI Hong-Suk wrote this story about a 24 year old. But this story was not of 'childish sentiment' but an 'honest and sincere reflection' of life and people. Moreover, this screenplay contains an honesty and warm outlook towards life that surpasses his age, which was hard to find in other screenplays. The screenplay, "Twenty Four" was selected without any doubt. And soon after, it was chosen by the Korean Film Committee to receive production funds. Director IM Kwon-Taek and the other judges did not hold back their greatest praise for this screenplay. "Twenty Four" is without a mannerism of mainstream films and yet it is well-equipped with all the elements that a film should have. All the related parties agreed that the film committee discovered the 'treasure' of the year.

KIM Hyun-Sung, KIM Min-Sun, BYUN Eun-Jung. The refreshing provocation of these young actors is about to start.

The casting of "Twenty Four" was one of the biggest pivotal points in determining the success of the film. Where is the 24 year old young man who will portray the lead character just the way he is? One of the largest auditions, 'Challenge 2000,' unearthed KIM Hyun-Sung. He is 'just right' for the part of 'Jun' that he puts all worries to rest. Also, they discovered actresses who are 100% the image of the characters they play. The excellent casting was praised for its 'good fit' by the industry, a rare occurrence among recent films. It includes KIM Min-Sun, the heroine of "Memento Mori" in which she showed her smooth acting ability unlike a newcomer and BYUN Eun-Jung, who has received numerous film proposals while establishing herself as a top model. During a drought of newcomers in Korean film, their ensemble casting is the subject of quiet excitement. And behind these young actors are the trustworthy acting power of MYUNG Gae-Nam, BANG Eun-Jin, and LEE Young-Ran. There is one reason why these actors have gathered. It is because of the charm of "Twenty Four."

The UniKorea of "Peppermint Candy", "Oh! Soojung", "Il Mare". They foretell a new legend in Korean film.

With "Peppermint Candy" in 1999, UniKorea conquered the Korean film industry. In 2000, they were acknowledged of having a different perspective with films like "Oh! Soojung" (Director HONG Sang-Soo) and "Il Mare" (Director LEE Hyung-Sung). And "Twenty Four" is the film they selected to start off 2001. It has a much talked about screenplay, trustworthy actors, a director with confident expectation, and a proven production company. Despite starting off with strong credentials, there were neither loud shooting declarations nor clamorous reports on the filming progress. The film "Twenty Four" quietly finished its production. And now it is finally revealing itself to us. ----
